China Residencies is thrilled to have two incredibly smart and very very qualified interns join us this summer to support our mission of providing resources for artists and residency programs throughout China.
Born and raised in Beijing, Yi (Sally) Cao is currently pursuing her Master of Arts Management at Carnegie Mellon University. With an undergraduate degree in Accounting from Beijing's University of Science and Technology, she decided to combine her management background with her arts experience to pursue arts administration. In addition to her internship with China Residencies, she is also helping out at Residency Unlimited and PS1. Previously, she contributed to projects at organizations including the Mattress Factory Museum of Contemporary Art, Chambers Fine Art Gallery and China Guardian Auctions. She is also a flutist and visual artist.
